My Michigan CPL Firearms Training, LLC was formed to instruct and train law abiding citizens in the safe use of firearms. We are focused on giving students the knowledge and skills needed to obtain a Concealed Pistol License in the state of Michigan.

SAFETY is of the utmost concern! Safety is stressed throughout the class and especially during the range portion to enhance the students ability to learn by creating a comfortable environment. We believe in providing a well balanced learning experience by mixing course book work, lectures, student involvement as well as Power Point displays. This mix keeps the instruction fresh, thought provoking and stimulating so you the student can learn and retain more.

Scott Halseth, chief instructor, is a NRA Certified Instructor, Certified Glock Armorer, experienced shooter and hunter. A graduate of the John Farnum Defense Training International Defensive Handgun course. A competitor in IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) with an Expert rating in Stock Service Pistol and a Sharpshooter in Stock Service Revolver. A competitor on the GSSF (Glock Sport Shooting Foundation) indoor and outdoor circuits and in ICORE revolver events. An NRA Certified Range Safety Officer and IDPA Safety Officer.
